<span> Advancing excellence and education for hospitalized children</span>

About the organization

SASA Setton is a leading educational and social organization in the field of education for children hospitalized in Israel's medical centers. Founded in 2009 by the late Philip Stone and Hilda Stone, the organization works in close partnership with the Ministry of Education. Through learning and enrichment activities, it provides an educational response to some 150,000 hospitalized children each year, across 42 schools operating in hospitals throughout Israel — general, psychiatric, and rehabilitation.

Afternoon Schools

25 general hospitals

Operating in every general hospital, they offer educational and enrichment programs beyond formal school hours — and at times within them.

Schools of Life

18 hospitals and psychiatric wards

Operating in every hospital and in children's and youth psychiatric wards. The school provides study and enrichment programs adapted to complex and sensitive hospitalizations, led by SASA Setton's professional facilitators.

Schools of Light

8 rehabilitation and nursing hospitals

: Operating in every rehabilitation hospital and in complex long-term nursing-care settings, where children undergo long-term rehabilitation.

SASA Setton leads a wide range of national projects across Israel, with the goal of giving children and young people educational, values-based, and  cultural experiences even in the most difficult circumstances. The organizatio  develops and runs distinctive programs in hospitals, in educational institutions, and in the community, combining innovative learning, creativity, technology, and the arts.
