SASA Setton's Schools
In Israel, a formal education system operates within the hospitals, anchored in legislation and based on children's fundamental right to free education. These schools are run as part of the public system by the Ministry of Education and its professional staff. Within this framework, SASA Setton serves as a complementary educational response, working in partnership with the educational centers to broaden the learning and experiential offering for hospitalized children.
The Afternoon School
Operating in every general hospital, offering educational and enrichment programs beyond formal school hours — and at times within them. Activities span fields such as robotics, science, art, crafts, and more.
The School of Life
Operating in every hospital and in children's and youth psychiatric wards. Activities include thinking games, chess, robotics, photography, 3D printing, and more.
The School of Light
Operating in every rehabilitation hospital and in complex long-term nursing-care settings. Its educational work focuses on enrichment programs, with an emphasis on music, creativity, and canine-assisted therapy.
