Co-founder, Honorary President
Hilda Stone, co-founder of SASA Setton, was appointed Honorary President on May 5, 2021, in recognition of more than a decade of work developing initiatives to advance the education of hospitalized children in Israel. Alongside her late husband, Philip Stone, Hilda contributed greatly to providing vital support in the recovery process, preserving educational continuity, and building emotional resilience for hundreds of thousands of children across 41 hospitals nationwide — from short stays to long-term hospitalization.
In addition to her commitment to SASA Setton, Hilda is a European bridge champion and the initiator of a 56-dunam park in Kiryat Ono dedicated to the memory of her late husband, Philip. She also established the central library of Ono Academic College. Beyond her philanthropic work, Hilda takes an active part in a number of projects, among them a collaboration with the Center for Jewish Impact to promote Israel's standing in the world and strengthen Diaspora Jewry.
